I Spent August of 2025 in artist residency in Stúkusalur, Höfn í Hornafirði where
I worked on felted artwork. Opna" (e. Open) is the result of my three-week stay.
The title of the exhibition, "Open", refers on one hand to a book spread - the artwork was based off my diary entries – and on the other hand to the act of opening up, of sharing what
often remains unsaid.
Each piece is made of 100% Icelandic wool, that I cleaned, carded, wet- and needle felted.
